Data retention policy
Unmeeting, Inc. will retain customer data in compliance with applicable local, state, federal laws. Customer data will be retained for as long as it is necessary to operate the product for a customer, after which the data is destroyed or anonymized to protect the privacy of the data subjects. On a regular basis Unmeeting, Inc. reviews stored data in order to determine whether to continue storage. If an employee or other data processor or data controller of Unmeeting, Inc. is found to have breached this policy, they may be subject to our disciplinary procedures. If there are indications that a criminal offense may have been committed, then further action may be taken to assist in investigations or legal proceedings. Unmeeting, Inc. may be required by law to retain data to comply with ongoing investigations.
Data archiving and removal policy
Except when required to comply with applicable laws, data that is archived by Unmeeting, Inc. is anonymized. Any customer or data subject related to data stored by Unmeeting, Inc. has the right to removal of that data (the right to be forgotten). The process for removal of data is initiated by a request to Unmeeting, Inc. in the form of an email sent to hello@unmeeting.io with a message indicating the desire to have customer data removed. Upon receiving a request from an identified customer, representatives of Unmeeting, Inc. will delete the relevant data from storage. Data stored in backup systems will be deleted periodically.
Data storage policy
Data is stored in a realtime database service. All reading and writing to the database service is done from the Unmeeting, Inc. web services running in Amazon Web Services. Backups of data are currently deleted on a 30 day schedule.
