Business Systems Summer 2019 Intern
We are hiring an IT Intern to help design & rollout Slack's business applications, and integrations. Our team works with business team requirements to assess, integrate and develop business solutions & processes. We are building an extraordinary landscape of all the important Sales, Marketing, Financial, HR and Analytic systems. Our team is tasked to prepare our business infrastructure for scale. While at Slack, you will learn to design the best solutions for the exciting problems a growing start-up faces.
What you will be doing:
Design flows, documentation and diagrams to explain and describe the code that is being rolled out
Work with IT team members to understand business challenges and how technology can help address them
Work with application analysts to ensure high-quality integrations with systems to move data between systems
Solicit and incorporate feedback on your work from your mentor and cross-functional team members
Develop robust QA tests with the team to check for data quality and integration integrity
What you should have:
An understanding of system APIs (REST/SOAP)
Experience collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic environment for gathering requirements and UAT testing
Knowledge with enterprise SaaS software such as Salesforce or Workday is a plus
Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in CS or another technical field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
You will be receiving your college degree in December 2019 or later
