Developer Content Systems Specialist

Join our developer relations team as a developer content systems specialist and tame our growing collection of documentation and the software that manages it. In this role you will author interactive learning experiences while integrating custom content management systems, open API specifications, and bespoke metadata.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with fellow content writers, engineers, and product to refine our documentation content systems and information architecture
  • Build interactive tools and documentation systems developers will love
  • Edit, revise, and organize an evolving collection of guides, tutorials, and reference documentation
  • Explore new ways to educate and entertain developers
  • Automate inconveniently manual processes
  • Practice other disciplines as part of a cross-functional developer relations team working with customers, developer communities, and partners

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in developer relations and/or preparing developer documentation
  • A background programming in languages like Hack/PHP, Javascript, and Python
  • Strong writing and editorial skills

Preferred:

  • Experience managing documentation systems and static site generator frameworks like Hugo, Gatsby, or Antora
  • Familiarity programming with API specification formats like OpenAPI and JSON Schema
  • A creative writing background is always appreciated
