Senior Manager, Recruiting

You will report into the Head of Product, Design, Engineering & Customer Experience, and will lead sophisticated and global initiatives in the Products Org which includes Product Management, Rimeto, Research & Analytics, Developer Relations, Design, and Customer Experience teams.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Recruiting Leader to join our global Recruiting organization. You will have a team reporting to you and you will add structure and move the team in the right direction, in line with business priorities, as we ensure exceptional experience to our candidates, clients and colleagues. You'll play a crucial role advancing a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive Slack through our hiring, promotion, retention, and inclusion practices. You’ll also provide a purpose and direction to the team and enable them to do impactful work.

What you’ll be doing
- Lead company initiatives of growing scope and complexity, set strategies, expand on diversity initiatives while balancing resources to support Slack’s growing business
- Manage, coach, empower, and develop a high-performing geographically dispersed team who espouse our values
- Influence senior partners using a data oriented approach to drive strategic decisions
- Be a trusted talent advisor and provide consultative support to leaders across the company on all aspects of recruitment to consistently upgrade teams and leadership capability with every hire
- Create an environment of accountability within the team to anticipate and address client, candidates and/or Slack’s needs
- Effectively work cross functionally to develop plans and drive projects from root cause analysis to deployment, to ensure optimal results, efficiency and on time delivery
- Partner with Recruitment marketing, communications, Slack’s ERG, and D&I partners to define new and emerging talent attraction tactics
What you should have
- 8 years experience with demonstrable track record of leading successful diverse and geographically dispersed talent acquisition teams preferably in the Technology industry
- Success building and coaching high performing recruiting teams
- Build, drive, and evolve a global proactive talent strategy that anticipates the business priorities and needs as we grow in scale and efficiency!
- Experience developing and delivering on global projects
- Proven experience with organizational change and data analytics
- Possess leadership that encourages and grounds others in a shared purpose
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, including humility, empathy, and playfulness with the ability to break down complex concepts and clearly articulate them internally and externally
- Strong people management experience with ability to inspire and build cohesive teams, mentor, and develop high-performing team
