Slack is looking for a technical specialist to join our Success Services organization to work hands-on with our largest customers in driving maturity and innovation with the Slack Platform. For this role, we’re looking for someone who is curious, creative, collaborative, hard-working and tenacious. This specialist will work collaboratively with both Enterprise customers and internally to design and implement annual programs to drive adoption, maturity, and ultimately business success with the Slack platform. 

 

In this role, you will be required to be an expert in Slack concepts, practices and procedures in order to guide the customer on how to tactically build and execute a program to manage and realize maximum value from their Slack instance.  These programs will be aligned to the customer’s specific needs and based on a set of key workstreams (administrator services, developer services, analytics and learning accelerators)

 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Work with our largest customers to assist them in managing the day-to-day activities associated with Slack as well as strategizing and developing for the future!
  • Work with our internal services team to assist in deploying solutions to our customers including custom integrations, bots and Directory Apps.
  • Identify key risks and issues related to the customer program(s)
  • Work cross functionally to bring all necessary resources to the table to deliver success

 

What You Should Have

  • You possess outstanding written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to go deep with technical customer resources or to explain the most basic capabilities to a business user.
  • You have experience in the Slack ecosystem and understand solution architecture for API based SaaS systems
  • You have a proven track record of resolving issues and risks in a cross functional and collaborative way and an attitude to always want to make things better
  • You are a self-motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas to inspire customer adoption.
  • You’re confident, and you easily build relationships when working with your customers and internal partners
  • You’re naturally curious, love learning new things, and are proactive in sharing knowledge with others
  • You exhibit diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through any problem
  • You know when something is over your head and aren’t afraid to ask for help
  • You have a bachelor’s degree.  Computer Science, Software Engineering or Business a plus!
  • You have at least 2 years of previous development, consulting, professional services or sales engineering experience
  • Experience with programming in a popular language like Node.js, Python, or Java
