Slack is looking for an experienced Survey Researcher to join our collaborative User Research team. We aim to improve product value throughout the entire customer experience by understanding the how and why of team workflows, communication processes and cultures. To do this, we provide research at every stage of the product development cycle. This role will specifically be in charge of building out our internal survey, user feedback and sentiment measurement systems that empower our users to have a voice.
As this is a new program, the right candidates will be self-starters, excellent communicators, passionate about technology, comfortable in a flat, fast moving organization, excited to collaborate, and focused squarely on impacting Slack. You'll help us build out a best-in-class sentiment program to better deliver on Slack’s mission: to make your working life simpler, more pleasant and more productive.
The perfect candidate will have a background in a quantitative or technical field, will have experience working with large data sets, and will have experience in data-driven decision making. You are focused on results, and have superior computational, analytical and communication skills. This position is based full time in our San Francisco, CA office.
You have expertise in all aspects of the survey process, particularly questionnaire design and survey data analysis. You have demonstrated experience with surveys, data analysis, and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Throughout, you are focused on setting new standards.
*Through trial and error we've learned that people don't apply unless we provide a guideline. But what’s more important to us than a number are the experiences you’ve had, and the skills you’ve developed, regardless of the length of time it took you to get where you are. Have 20+ years? Awesome, please apply. Have only 2 years, but feel you meet the requirements above? Great, please apply.
