Sales Manager, APAC

The manager of sales for Slack Melbourne’s office will lead and scale a team responsible for selling and on-boarding successful customers across our Enterprise customer base. Reporting to the VP, Sales this leader will play an integral role in building out the sales team, organizational structure, processes, training, forecasting, metrics and incentives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Melbourne sales team responsible for selling and on-boarding Slack customers
  • Work closely with the account executives, finance and sales operations to deliver accurate regional sales forecasts
  • Develop and iterate on Slack’s go-to-market approach for the region to achieve growth targets
  • Define and coordinate sales training and enablement programs to continually develop the sales team’s abilities
  • Engage with prospect and customer executives as a peer to build engagement, sponsorship and ultimately customer value
  • Drive forward Slack’s key customer metrics including CSAT, net promoter score, daily active users and paid users
  • Travel within Australia & New Zealand to meet with key customers and partners
  • Identify unique regional customer challenges and proactively relay those back into product and engineering

Requirements

  • 3 + years of work experience in managing sales teams, including account executives
  • Enterprise SaaS experience a must
  • Effectively managed an organization or department and maintained a strong culture around successful customers
  • Self-motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas to inspire the team, Slack’s business, and Slack’s customer base
  • Bachelor’s Degree
