Data archiving and removal policy
By default, a customer’s data is stored for the duration of his or her contract with Channel Tools. Channel Tools may provide the option for customers to delete data after their subscription ends, or they uninstall our app from Slack. This request must be made by the customer, and Channel Tools may require additional ID verification. Channel Tools should hard delete all information from currently-running production systems within one-quarter of the deletion request.
Data storage policy
Data is logically segmented by customer and user account. Production servers are physically separated from development/test servers. The principle of least privileged access is used for account provisioning. Appropriate redundancy is in place. Backups are taken weekly, all backups are encrypted while in transit and stored off-site using 256-bit encryption.
