Data retention policy
We follow GDPR compliance and have it as part of our terms of service [1]. We store all data in Europe (AWS eu-central-1 region in Frankfurt) and only keep and use the data needed to provide the service.
Data archiving and removal policy
We retain your data for a period of 1 year after you close your account. After that period, all data is completely removed from the servers. Once deleted, data will only be able to be recovered 30 days after. To submit a right to know, delete or opt-out request please send an email to privacy@factorial.co .
Data storage policy
All data is only stored in approved systems, databases, and devices. The storage location is on AWS hosted machines only. Storage is in a secure, dedicated cloud environment behind a firewall. Factorial specifically prohibits employees from storing sensitive data in their Factorial development environments, on their Factorial-issued laptops or desktop computers, on their personal devices, on removable media (e.g., USB flash drives), or on printed media.

Data deletion request procedure
Following the termination of the contract between Factorial and the Client, Factorial will securely delete or return to the Client all personal data in Factorial's possession following the Client's written request. unless retention of Client's personal data is required under Unior or Member State law.
Also, all data subjects can exercise their rights by sending written communication to the following e-mail address privacy@factorial.co whenever they want and it will be responded accordingly.
