Smarsh's app for Slack captures data pursuant to a software services agreement between Smarsh and the applicable Smarsh Client. Smarsh’s software retains client data on behalf of the Client in accordance with data retention policies set by the applicable Client. Client Data is deleted pursuant to such retention policies. Smarsh also deletes Client Data after the termination or expiration of that Agreement.
Data archiving and removal policy
Client data is deleted 1) pursuant to data retention policies set by the Client within Smarsh’s software, and 2) after the termination or expiration of the applicable service agreement with the Client. The Client may also direct Smarsh to delete or export its client data under the terms of the Service Agreement.
Data storage policy

You may contact Smarsh at firstname.lastname@example.org to request that we delete your information. In some cases, we may be unable to delete your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.
While this app may offer HIPAA compliance, Slack does not have a business associate agreement with any third-party application providers, including those in the Slack App Directory, so you are responsible for validating the provider's compliance and executing an appropriate agreement before enabling.
