A Slack team admin must install SLINGRbot for Autotask.Slack uses the concept of channels to organize chat topics, documents and work groups. SLINGRbot for Autotask lets you link these channels to Autotask Accounts or Projects.When a new account or project is created in Autotask, a new channel is created in Slack. From Slack, users can also link their channels to existing Autotask Accounts and Projects.To avoid channel overload, you can archive/unarchive channels that aren't active, and users can elect to leave channels they no longer need. COMMANDS THAT ARE AVAILABLE FROM SLACK:#mapme Tries to match your Slack user to an Autotask user be email address. If there is a match, users will be associated.#me Shows information about your mapped Autotask user.#info Shows information about the channel's associated account/project.#link Maps the channel to an account or project, creating a new account or project if one doesn't exist.#ct@user ticket title Creates a new ticket in the account/project the current channels is associated with, and sets the referenced user as the primary resource.#atn Ticket number note Adds a note to the ticket with the given number.
