Privacy & data governance
Data retention policy
We carry out periodical reviews, continued checking for validity and accuracy for all data and records. We established a retention period of 7 years to allow future auditing. The data is deleted permanently when the retention period is over.
Data archiving and removal policy
We keep the data active when the customers have a business relationship with us. When the relationship is terminated all related data will be archived. The archived data will be deleted after the retention period is over.
Data storage policy
All data is stored in a secure database while documents are on the private buckets of S3 on AWS. The access is managed by the vendors using password protection and two-factor authentication, so only authorized personnel is allowed to access it. Once the retention period has elapsed the documents are reviewed and destroyed.

Data deletion request procedure
Only authorized users can delete data in the application. When data is deleted, the system keeps an audit record showing who and when it is deleted. The archived data will be permanently deleted and can not be reconstructed when the data retention period is over.
