Claap records every sales conversation and turns it into clean meeting, deal and company data for your CRM and AI agents. The Slack app brings those calls to where your team already talks.With Claap for Slack, you can:• Play recordings in Slack. Paste a Claap link and your teammates watch the call right in the channel.
• Post new calls to the right channel automatically. Connect a Claap folder to one or more public channels, and every recording shared in that folder shows up there.
• Get notified when a teammate needs you. Claap sends you a Slack message when you're tagged in a recording, invited to one, when someone replies to your comment, or when there's a new comment on a recording you follow.
• Reply without opening Claap. Answer a comment from the Slack thread and your reply is added to the comment on the recording.A few ways sales teams use it:

Privacy & data governance
Data retention policy
Workspace admins can set a recording retention period (6 months, 1, 2 or 3 years, or indefinitely by default). Recordings past that period, and their associated content, are automatically and permanently deleted every day. Other data is kept for as long as the workspace exists, unless a user or admin deletes it.
Data archiving and removal policy
Deleted recordings are kept in the workspace trash for 30 days, then permanently and irreversibly deleted with all associated content. When a user is removed, their personal data and personal content (comments, reactions, etc.) are deleted. Recordings stay with the workspace. Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 35 days. Customers can request full workspace deletion at privacy@claap.io.
Data storage policy
All data is stored on AWS in the eu-west-1 region. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Hourly backups are kept for 35 days in the same region.

Data deletion request procedure
Admins can remove Claap accounts from their Workspace through their Workspace settings. Removed members will no longer have access to any of the Workspace's content. If you're the only member in your Workspace, you can remove your own account by leaving the Workspace. You can also permanently delete your account and all its associated data (videos, comments) through your account settings.
