Privacy & data governance
Data retention policy
User data (tasks, messages, documents) is retained indefinitely until the user requests account deletion. Data shared with other users (documents, messages) is preserved to maintain recipient access.
Data archiving and removal policy
Upon deletion request, accounts are soft-deleted with a 30-day grace period during which users can cancel by logging in. After 30 days, all associated user data is permanently deleted. Data shared with other users is retained with sender information anonymized to "deleted user" unless the recipient has the user saved as a contact.
Data storage policy
All user data is stored on Railway's managed infrastructure in the Singapore (Southeast Asia) region. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Database storage uses Railway's managed PostgreSQL with encryption at rest enabled by default.

- Google Vertex AI (Gemini models): United States
- OpenAI API: United States
We do not currently offer data residency guarantees for specific regions.

Users may request deletion of their account and associated data via self-service at https://app.qordinate.ai under Profile → Delete Account. Deletion requests are processed and completed within 30 days.
