Users should verify AI-generated information through appropriate organizational practices before applying it to business decisions.Data and Security
Aviary applies administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to all data processed through the Aviary platform, including data accessed via the Slack integration. Information surfaced in Slack depends on each workspace's configuration, permissions, and policies. Privacy & data governance

Data retention policy

Aviary Health retains personal information and workspace data for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, as outlined in our Privacy Policy at https://www.aviaryhealth.com/privacy-policy. Data is retained in accordance with applicable law, including HIPAA requirements for protected health information. Users may request deletion of their data at any time by contacting slack-support@aviaryhealth.com.

Data archiving and removal policy

Upon termination of a customer's account or upon a verified deletion request, Aviary Health removes personal data and Slack workspace data from active systems within 30 days and from backup systems within 90 days, unless retention is required by applicable law. Requests for data removal can be submitted to slack-support@aviaryhealth.com.

Data storage policy

All data collected and processed by Aviary Health, including data accessed through the Slack integration, is stored in the United States. Aviary Health applies administrative, physical, and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including encryption at rest and in transit, in accordance with HIPAA requirements.

Aviary Health uses Anthropic's Claude API, which operates under a strict no-training policy for API customers. Data submitted via the API is not used to train Anthropic's models and is not shared with other customers or tenants

LLM data residency policy

Data submitted to the LLM is processed in the United States. Anthropic processes API requests in US-based infrastructure. No LLM processing occurs outside the United States.
