Privacy & data governance
Data retention policy
As long as a customer maintains an active business relationship with Profit.co, their data will be securely stored in the Profit.co database.
When a customer decides to discontinue the service, they have the option to export all their data from the application, after which the data can be deleted directly from the account.
Profit.co will delete the data upon request, typically within 30 to 120 days.
Data archiving and removal policy
Profit.co securely stores customer data for the duration of the active business relationship. All data is maintained in compliance with applicable audit and security standards.
When a customer chooses to discontinue the service, they have the option to export all their data from the application prior to deletion. Upon confirmation, data can be deleted directly by the customer or requested for deletion.
Profit.co will then initiate the data removal process, ensuring that all customer data is permanently deleted from active systems within 30 to 120 days, based on the customer’s requirements.
Data storage policy
Profit.co stores customer data in secure, access-controlled databases for the duration of the active business relationship. All data is protected through industry-standard security measures, including encryption with AES-256, network safeguards, and restricted access controls.

Data deletion request procedure
All data is owned by the client and can be deleted on demand at any time. Profit supports a self-delete feature for each account. At this time all business data will be deleted and cleared from rolling backups shortly after. Otherwise, Profit retains basic contact & administrative data, but no client business data. In compliance with GDPR Profit supports the “right to be forgotten” by emailing privacy@profit.co with a request to delete such sales data. A customer is responsible for managing & deleting their own business data if desired.
