This is the language that the Slack app will appear in for any new members or workspaces added to the organisation; however, it will not override members' changes to their individual language preferences.

Here’s how:
  1. From your desktop, click on your workspace name in the top left.
  2. Select Settings & administration, then Organisation settings from the menu.
  3. From the left sidebar of the Admin dashboard, select Settings.
  4. Click Organisation info.
  5. Next to Default language, click Edit.
  6. Choose a language from the menu.
  7. Click Save to finish.

Note: Workspace owners and admins can also override the default language, but members will still see most of Slack in their preferred language.
