Set the default language of a workspace or organization
Set the default language of a workspace or organization
You can select the default language for members of your Slack workspace or Enterprise Grid org. Only email invitations, SCIM-synced profiles, and Slackbot announcements in public channels will display in the default language; everything else in Slack will be determined by members’ individual language preferences.

Org Owners and Admins can set a default language for every workspace in their Enterprise Grid organization.
This is the language the Slack app will appear in for any new members or workspaces added to the organization; however, it will not override members' changes to their individual language preferences.
Here's how:
From your desktop, click your workspace name in the top left.
Select Settings & administration, then Organization Settings from the menu.
From the left sidebar of the Admin Dashboard, select Settings.
Click Organization Info.
Next to Default language, click Edit.
Choose a language from the menu.
Click Save to finish.
Note: Workspace Owners and Admins can also override the default language, but members will still see most of Slack in their preferred language.
