Use Slack Connect with free teams On Enterprise Grid, you can use Slack Connect with free teams to make working with people outside your company more seamless. When this setting is enabled, teams on a free subscription can join channels that they’re invited to in your org without having to upgrade or start a free trial.
By default, the setting to use Slack Connect with free teams is disabled, but org owners and org admins can manage this from the admin dashboard. If enabled, this setting will only affect future invitations sent from your organisation.
From your desktop, click on your workspace name in the top left.
Select Settings & administration from the menu, then click on Organisation settings .
Click Slack Connect in the left sidebar, then select Settings .
Next to Use Slack Connect with free teams , click Edit .
Tick the box next to Enable , then click Save setting .
