Adjust your huddles and calls preferences

If you use Slack huddles or calls in your workspace, there are a few preferences that you can manage to tailor your audio and video in Slack.

Note: Starting 30th June, the huddles feature will be rolling out gradually to customers on Slack’s paid subscriptions. By early August, all customers will have access to huddles.

  1. From your desktop, click on your profile picture in the top right.
  2. Select Preferences from the menu.
  3. Click Audio & video in the left-side column.
  4. Under Camera, open the drop-down menu to select an option.

Note: This preference is only available for Slack calls, as huddles don’t currently support video.
