Slack Connect: Manage channel approval settings and invitation requests
To help you manage Slack Connect for your organisation, there are a number of approval settings that you can adjust for Slack Connect channels. Keep reading to learn how to manage approval settings, apply approval settings to specific external organisations and manage invitation requests.
Manage approval settings for Slack Connect channels
Pro and Business+ subscriptions
Enterprise Grid subscription
Workspace owners can adjust the following approval settings:

Where requests are sent for approval
Manage approval settings
From your desktop, click on your workspace name in the top left.
Select Settings & administration from the menu, then click Workspace settings.
Click the Permissions tab.
Next to Slack Connect channels, click Expand.
Select your approval settings.
Click Save.
Org owners and org admins can adjust the following approval settings:
Who can approve requests and manage Slack Connect channels
When approval is required for Slack channels
Where requests are sent for approval
Manage approval settings
From your desktop, click on your workspace name in the top left.
Select Settings & administration, then click Organisation settings.
Click Slack Connect in the left sidebar, then select Settings.
Select your approval settings.
Select an option and click Save.

Workspace owners (and anyone else that they’ve granted permission to) can apply custom approval settings to specific organisations that their company works with.
From your desktop, click Slack Connect in your sidebar.
Click on the cog icon and select Manage connections to see all the organisations that you’re working with.
Next to the organisation that you'd like to set custom approval for, click on the three dots icon and select Edit approval settings.
Click on Custom, then select an option from the menu.
Click on Save to confirm.
Org owners and org admins (and anyone else that they’ve granted permission to) can apply custom approval settings to specific organisations that their company works with.
From your desktop, click on your workspace name in the top left.
Select Settings & administration from the menu, then click on Organisation settings.
Click Slack Connect in the left sidebar.
Next to the organisation that you'd like to set custom approval for, click on the three dots icon and select Edit approval settings.
Click on Custom, then select an option from the menu.
Click on Save to confirm.

When approval is required for Slack Connect channels, workspace owners (and anyone else that they’ve granted permission to) can review an invitation request.
From your desktop, click on your workspace name in the top left.
Select Settings & administration from the menu, then click on Workspace settings.
Select Slack Connect invitations in the left column.
Select the Open requests tab.
Select the three dots icon next to a channel name to approve or deny the request. To take action in bulk, select up to 25 requests, then select Approve or Deny.
When approval is required for Slack Connect channels, org owners and org admins (and anyone else that they’ve granted permission to) can review an invitation request.
From your desktop, click on your workspace name in the top left.
Select Settings and administration from the menu, then click Manage Slack Connect.
Click on Invitations in the left column.
Select the Open requests tab.
Select the three dots icon next to a channel name to approve or deny the request. To take action in bulk, select up to 25 requests, then select Approve or Deny.
Enable Slack Connect for specific workspaces
On Enterprise Grid, you can choose to allow Slack Connect channels in specific workspaces only.
From your desktop, click on your workspace name in the top left.
Select Settings & administration, then click on Organisation settings.
Click Slack Connect in the left sidebar, then select Settings.
Next to Enable for channels in which workspaces, click on Edit.
Select an option and search for your desired workspaces, then click on Save.
Who can use this feature?
Workspace owners (Pro and Business+) and org owners and org admins (Enterprise Grid) can manage approval settings and decide who can approve invitation requests
