Manage workspace customisation

Any member (except a guest) can create custom emoji and add custom loading messages to your workspace by default. If necessary, you can change the customisation permissions to workspace owners and admins only.

 

Change customisation permissions 

On desktop, here’s how to update customisation permissions:

  1. From your desktop, click your workspace name in the top left.
  2. Select Administration, then Workspace settings from the menu.
  3. Click the Permissions tab.
  4. Next to Custom emoji & loading messages, click Expand.
  5. Choose who can manage custom emoji and loading messages.
  6. Click Save to finish.

 

Who can use this feature?
  • Workspace owners and admins
  • Free, Standard, Plus and Enterprise Grid subscriptions

By default, any member (except for guests) can create custom emoji for your workspace. If you like, you can limit this permission to workspace owners and admins.

 

Change custom emoji permissions 

  1. From your desktop, click your workspace name in the top left.
  2. Select Settings & administration from the menu, then click Workspace settings
  3. Click the Permissions tab.
  4. Next to Custom Emoji, click Expand.
  5. Below People who can manage custom emoji, choose who can manage custom emoji from the drop-down menu.
  6. Click Save to finish.
