Manage shared channels on the Standard and Plus plans

On the Standard and Plus plans, Workspace Owners and Admins can manage all shared channels for their workspace.

View all shared channels

Workspace Owners and Admins can view all public and private shared channels and which external organizations they're shared with: 

  1. From your desktop, click your workspace name in the top left.
  2. Click Administration from the menu.
  3. Click Manage shared channels.
  4. Scroll or use the search bar to Search workspaces.
  5. Click the  three dots icon to view your options.

Note: To keep their content private, you can't see the names of private shared channels, but you'll be able see they exist when you view all shared channels in your workspace.

Manage invitation settings

Workspace Owners and Admins can decide whether or not to allow shared channel invitations from other organizations. 

  1. From your desktop, click your workspace name in the top left.
  2. Click Administration from the menu.
  3. Click Workspace settings.
  4. Next to Shared Channels, click Expand.
  5. Check or uncheck the box next to Allow in-bound invitations.
  6. Click Save.
