Starting April 15, 2026, eligible Pro teams can experience Slackbot without message limits as part of a special promotion. This is a limited-time opportunity to experience the full power of Slackbot and how it can transform the way you work in Slack.
Promotion overview
Eligible Pro teams will see an offer to try Slackbot by starting a free trial of our Business+ plan. As soon as you opt into this trial, all members of your workspace will immediately get access to Business+ and everything Slackbot has to offer. You’ll be able to use Slackbot without the usual weekly message limits (as well as all of the features included with the Business+ plan) for the duration of the trial period.
Promotion window and trial period
ou can start a trial anytime during the promotion window, which runs from April 15-30, 2026. The trial period, which is how long a team will have access to Slackbot and Business+ at no extra cost, will either be 14 days or 30 days, depending on eligibility.
Weekly message limit for Slackbot
A limit of 15 messages to Slackbot per user per week applies to all members on our Business+ plan. The limit resets weekly on Monday at 12 a.m. in your timezone. For the duration of your trial period, that limit will be removed. However, all use of Slackbot is still subject to Slack's standard Acceptable Use Policy.
End of trial details
At the end of the trial, you will be automatically upgraded to Business+ and your plan payment will increase. Slackbot usage limits will apply at the end of the trial period, plus any additional days before the weekly message limit resets.
If you choose to cancel your Business+ plan, you will lose access to Slackbot and Business+ features unless you upgrade.
In addition to Slackbot, Business+ also includes several AI features that are not available on Pro:
AI search
File summaries
AI translations
Message explanations
Canvas content generation
AI workflow generation
If you revert back to Pro, you won't be able to use any of these features. Any canvases and workflows you created will remain available, but you won't be able to use AI to generate new canvas content or build additional workflows.
Terms and conditions
By redeeming this offer, you agree that these offer terms form part of and modify Slack’s Customer Terms of Service (or the terms of your written agreement regarding your use of Slack’s services) (your “Agreement”) entered into between you and the Slack entity identified in the Agreement and that, after the trial period, Slack’s then current standard pricing set forth on Slack’s Pricing Page will apply to the remainder of your subscription and to any subscription renewals. Please see the terms of your Agreement for information on how to cancel or downgrade your paid subscription before any such renewal. If you redeem this offer and then modify or cancel your paid Slack plan or downgrade during the trial period, this offer may no longer be available to you.
