Manage settings and permissions for Slack Connect channels

Owners and admins can choose who from their organization can use Slack Connect channels and what permissions people from other organizations can have.

Manage permissions for inviting people to channels

With two Slack Connect invitation types to choose from, decide what permissions people from other organizations can have when they work in channels:

  • With permission only to post limits people's actions to only sending messages.
  • With permission to post, invite, and more allows people to send messages, add their teammates, and add apps and workflows.
