Manage multi-workspace channels on Enterprise Grid

Org Owners and Admins can decide who can manage multi-workspace channels within an Enterprise Grid organization. Members with this permission can add channels to other workspaces in the org and modify who can post it them.


Set multi-workspace channel permissions

Org Owners and Admins you can set permissions for multi-workspace channels.

  1. From your desktop, click your workspace name in the top left.
  2. Click Administration, then choose Organization settings from the menu.
  3. Click  Settings in the left-side column, then Channel Administration.
  4. Under Multi-Workspace Channels, select an option below Who can manage multi-workspace channels?
  5. Click Save Changes.

Note: Only an Org Owner or Admin can change a multi-workspace channel from public to private.


Choose who can post to multi-workspace channels

If you have permission to modify multi-workspace channels, you can decide who can post in them:

  1. Open a multi-workspace channel.
  2. Click the   gear icon to open the Channel Settings menu.
  3. Select Additional options.
  4. Under Manage posting permissions, choose who can post in the shared channel.
  5. Click Review, then Set posting permissions.
