Manage link previews for third-party files
Who can use this feature?
Org Owners /Admins and Workspace Owners /Admins
Available on all plans
By default, when someone shares a file from certain third-party apps (like Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive ), others will see a rich preview of the file. If they’d like, owners and admins can adjust file preview settings to display only file titles.
Free, Pro, and Business+ plans Enterprise Grid plan
From the Homeworkspace name in the sidebar.
Hover over Tools & settings , then click Workspace settings .
Click Expand next to External file thumbnail previews .
Select the file sharing apps you’d like to restrict link previews for, then click Save .
From the Homeorganization name in the sidebar.
Hover over Tools & settings , then click Organization settings .
From the left sidebar, click Settings , then select Organization settings .
Click Edit next to External file thumbnail previews .
Select the file sharing apps you’d like to restrict link previews for, then click Save .
