Manage link previews for third-party files

Who can use this feature?

By default, when someone shares a file from certain third-party apps (such as Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive), others will see a rich preview of the file. If they like, owners and admins can adjust file preview settings to only display file titles. 


Restrict previews for third-party files

  1. From the   Home tab, click your workspace name in the sidebar.
  2. Hover over Tools & settings, then click Workspace settings.
  3. Click Expand next to External file thumbnail previews.
  4. Select the file-sharing apps that you’d like to restrict link previews for, then click Save.

  2. Hover over Tools & settings, then click Organisation settings.
  3. From the left sidebar, click on   Settings, then select Organisation settings.
  4. Click Edit next to External file thumbnail previews.
  5. Select the file-sharing apps that you’d like to restrict link previews for, then click Save.
