Step 1

In your Downloads folder, double-click the Slack .zip file to reveal the Slack app icon.

Step 2

Drag and drop the Slack app icon over to your Applications in the Finder sidebar.

Step 3

To launch Slack, simply double-click the Slack icon in your Applications folder.

Tips and Tricks

Keep Slack in your dock by right-clicking the Slack icon, clicking Options, and then selecting Keep in Dock.
Stay signed in to multiple Slack teams! In the Team Menu (top-left corner), just select Sign in to another team.
