Delete a workspace

Deleting a workspace is permanent, and only the primary owner can do so. If you're not the workspace primary owner, you won't see the option to delete your workspace. You'll need to contact your primary owner for help.

⚠️ Bear in mind

  • Before deleting, consider exporting workspace data first.
  • Once deleted, all the workspace’s messages and files are irretrievable.
  • You can only delete a workspace from your desktop – this action isn't available on mobile devices.
  • To remove a workspace from an Enterprise Grid org, the workspace's primary owner must delete it.

Tip: Need to change your workspace's name or URL? There's no need to delete your workspace – you can change either of these from Settings & Permissions under Workspace name & URL.
