To start using Flex Credits for additional Slackbot usage, turn on the setting in the admin dashboard. This request must also be approved by a Salesforce Admin from a connected org that already has Flex Credits enabled.
After you reach your allotted number of Slackbot messages, Slackbot will begin to use Flex Credits to pay for additional usage.
The cost of each action depends on whether it’s a Standard Action (like searching your workspace, drafting a message, or updating your calendar) or an Advanced Action (like a deep research request, creating third-party documents, or creating a surface).

Requirements for getting started
To use Flex Credits in Slack, you must meet the following requirements:
Step 1: Enable Flex Credit usage for Slack in Salesforce
Before you can start using Flex Credits in Slack, an admin in Salesforce has to approve their use in your Salesforce org.
Sign in to Salesforce, then select Setup.
Below Platform tools in the sidebar, select Slack.
Click Manage Slack Connection.
Turn on the toggle under Flex Credits for Slack.
Step 2: Opt in to use Flex Credits in Slack
Workspace Owners and Admins can decide whether to enable use of Flex Credits. If this wasn’t already pre-approved in your Salesforce org, you'll need to request access from your Salesforce admin.
From your desktop, click Admin in the sidebar.
Select Workspace settings from the menu
Click Settings then click Slackbot.
Next to Metered consumption, click Edit.
Select a Salesforce org from the dropdown menu and click Connect (or Send Request if you are awaiting approval from your Salesforce admin).

To stop workspace members from using Flex Credits for additional Slackbot usage, turn off the setting in the Slack admin dashboard or in the Salesforce platform tools.

Click Settings then click Slackbot.
Next to Metered consumption, click Edit.
Click Turn Off, then Confirm.
Sign in to Salesforce, then select Setup.
Below Platform tools in the sidebar, select Slack, then click Manage Slack Connection.
