Search for people

  1. Click People & user groups at the top of your left sidebar. If you don't see this option, click  More to find it.
  2. Type a person's name, display name, job title, or email address in the search field. To narrow your results, click  Filter. If you’re on a paid plan and use shared channels, you can filter results to see only members of external organizations. If you're on the Enterprise Grid plan, you can filter results by org- and workspace- level roles in Slack.
  3. Click on a person's photo to view their profile. To exit a profile, click the  close icon in the top right corner.

Note: If email addresses have been hidden by an owner or admin, searching by email in the directory will not return any results.
