Plan your projects using a canvas

What you’ll learn in two minutes or less: How to use a canvas for anything that you’re working on, such as project briefs and incident reports.

Every channel and direct message has a canvas, but you can also create one on its own and share it with others whenever you need to.

Go for it!

  1. From your desktop, click   Canvases at the top of your left-hand sidebar. If you can’t see this option, click   More to find it.
  2. From the   Canvases view, click New canvas in the top right-hand corner.
  3. Add the content that’s relevant to your project, such as goals, checklists, links to messages – anything you like. Only you will have access to this canvas until you Share it.

Here’s an example of what this could look like:an example of a canvas being used for a project brief to list goals, add checklists and reference related conversations

Note: This feature is available on paid subscriptions, but canvases in conversations are available on all subscriptions.
