Customize call settings for your workspace or organization

By default, all members can make calls in Slack using the  phone icon. Depending on your plan, there are a few ways to customize call settings.

  • On all plans, you can enable or disable calls in Slack for everyone.
  • On all plans, you can change the default calling app for members. This will display a third-party calling app instead of Slack’s calling feature from the phone icon.
  • On the Standard, Plus, and Enterprise Grid plans, you can choose to display multiple third-party calling apps from the phone icon, in addition to Slack’s calling feature. You can also allow outbound phone calls if you've installed apps that support this functionality.

Note: Any changes that owners or admins make to call settings will impact everyone in their workspace or Enterprise Grid organization.
