Set up keyword notifications

Keywords alert you to conversations in channels you've joined about topics that interest you. Anytime someone uses one of your keywords, you'll receive a notification and see it highlighted in yellow.

Things to keep in mind

  • Add words or phrases for things like the name of a project you’re responsible for or something you definitely don’t want to miss out on (such as the next tea round)!
  • Your keywords are not case-sensitive, so cuppa, Cuppa and CUPPA will all create the same notification.

  • You’ll only receive notifications for exact matches to your keyword, so cuppasoup will not create a notification for cuppa.
