The tab bar
Use the bottom tab bar to switch between conversations, search for information, and access your settings and preferences.
Home
Tap the Home tab in the bottom-left corner to access your channel list, threads, and drafts. Conversations where you’ve been mentioned will be at the top of the list. If you’re using custom sections on your desktop, they'll be visible here.
DMs
Find all of your direct messages (DMs) in the DMs tab. Your most recent conversations, and anywhere you've been mentioned, will be listed at the top.
Mentions & reactions
Tap the Mentions tab to see your mentions, keyword notifications, and reactions to your messages in one place. The most recent messages will show at the top of the list, and you can tap any message to view it in a conversation.
Search
Use the Search tab to search for messages and files, browse people and channels, and view recent searches.
Use the compose button to quickly write and send messages on mobile, just like you would on your desktop. Unsent messages will automatically save as drafts in the Drafts section of your Home tab.
