Terms and Conditions

Only a subset of Pro and Business+ teams billed monthly with three or more active users are eligible for this promotion. Eligible teams will receive an invitation directly via email and/or in their Slack instance.

This offer is valid from July 1 to October 14 (the “Offer Period”). On eligible teams, each new full user (“New User”) added to the workspace during the Offer Period will entitle the team to a credit equivalent to one month's base subscription fee for the respective plan ("Credit"). For clarity, users added and then deleted before the Offer Period ends will not count as New Users. Credits shall be distributed in the last week of the calendar month, if the team still has at least three active users. Credits will be applied in the same or following month of the addition of the New User.

To qualify, New Users must join the eligible workspace during the Offer Period. This offer does not apply to reactivated users or guests added during the Offer Period. It does not apply to users who are invited during the Offer Period but join later.

By redeeming this offer, you agree that these offer terms form part of and modify Slack’s Customer Terms of Service (or the terms of your written agreement regarding your use of Slack’s services) (your “Agreement”) entered into between you and the Slack entity identified in the Agreement and that, after the Discount Period, Slack’s then current standard pricing set forth on Slack’s Pricing Page will apply to the remainder of your subscription and to any subscription renewals. Please see the terms of your Agreement for information on how to cancel or downgrade your paid subscription before any such renewal. If you redeem this offer and then modify or cancel your paid Slack plan or downgrade to a free plan during the Discount Period, this offer may no longer be available to you.

This offer cannot be combined with any other offer. Limit one offer per team. Offer is non-transferable and subject to change at Slack’s discretion. FAQs

How does the promotion work?

Eligible Slack Pro and Business+ workspaces will earn a credit for each new member who joins the workspace during the offer period. Each credit is equivalent to one month free per new member who joins before October 2024.

Is this promotion available to all workspaces?

It’s only available to select Slack workspaces on the Pro and Business+ plan, paying monthly.

 

If I'm eligible, how can I view my promotional offer?

Hover over  More in your sidebar, select  People, then click Invite people. The promotional banner will include your offer. Once you invite new members, you can see how many have successfully joined your workspace via another banner in your Slack workspace.

 

How and when will the discount be applied to my account?

Credits will be applied the last week of each month during the promotional period. You will receive credits in the next credit application period after a new member joins your workspace. For example, if five new members join your workspace in July, you'll receive five credits (each credit is equal to the cost of one member) applied by the end of August.

 

I’ve invited people to join my workspace, but my team size got smaller. Will I still receive the discount?

You’ll receive a credit for each new member who joins during the offer period as long as your workspace has three or more active members, and the new member is not deactivated when credits are distributed — your team doesn’t have to grow in size, but you do need to be adding real new teammates! Members are considered active if they've taken an action in Slack any time within a 28-day period. Learn how to view billable active members.

 

Do members have to be newly invited?

Yes, they must be newly invited — this offer does not apply to reactivated users. New members must accept their invitation to join your workspace during the offer period. Any invitations sent before the offer period that are accepted before October 2024 are eligible for credits. Will this discount apply to guest accounts?

No, the discount will only apply to full members you invite to join your workspace.

Can I use these credits to upgrade my plan or convert to an annual plan?

No. To receive the credits for this offer, your workspace will need to be on a paid plan, paying monthly, at the time the credits were issued and at the end of the month when they’ll be applied.

Can multiple discounts be applied to my monthly billing statement?

Not at this time. If your workspace is eligible for more than one discount, we’ll calculate which one will save you the most money and automatically apply it to your account.
